The Wood Model Shop Project Manager will lead and develop the commercial casework model shop. Projects will range from reception desks, commercial cabinetry, retail display fixtures and various custom commercial casework fixtures.
The PM will:
Estimate model shop custom fixtures and perform job costing
Provide material take off to purchasing department including vendor selections
Supervise and train model shop employees
Assist with manufacturing projects
Coordinate with engineering for prints and CNC requirements
Schedule model shop
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the model shop
Coordinate maintenance requests with plant manager
Monitor and maintain necessary tools, machines, jigs, etc..
Ensure project profitability of model shop according to estimates
The Model Shop PM must posses proven experience producing commercial casework using materials such as hardwood, MDF, veneer and HPL. The right candidate will have proven manufacturing experience managing projects and personnel from estimate to installation and be able to succeed in a fast-paced and high-stress manufacturing setting.
Candidates must have experience reading and producing prints. Familiarity with Solid Works and MasterCam X desired. Previous experience working in cabinetry shops is beneficial. Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, sales staff and customers. This position requires excellent people, administrative and organizational skills.

The Marketing Analyst is responsible to provide the sales department with market and product information relevant to the strategic direction of the company. The analyst will also provide graphic art and creative design services to the internal staff to meet promotional needs.
Responsibilities include:
•Research market demands, trends, demographics and market conditions in local regional and national areas to determine potential sales of products
-Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution
•Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand
•Forecast and track marketing and sales trends
•Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature
•Seek and provide information to help determine the company’s position in the marketplace.
•Provide professional quality graphic art and web design services to internal clients for promotional use
Required skills/educations
High School degree or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor degree in Marketing preferred
Basic knowledge of marketing concepts
The ability to communicate clearly using written, verbal and electronic communication
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
Proficient skill level with Adobe Photo Shop CS2, Adobe Illustrator and MS Publisher
Strong skills in math, statistics, research methods and sales
